On the morning of May 9, 2024, Wu Yongzhong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fuqing Municipal Committee and Mayor of Fuqing, led a delegation to Fuxin Wheel to review the project and help advance construction. Officials from the municipal government office and the departments responsible for natural resources and planning, industry and information technology, and ecology and environment accompanied the visit.
At the construction site, Mayor Wu learned about the project's planning and design, construction progress, production schedule and supporting infrastructure. He expressed his recognition of the Fuxin Wheel project and encouraged the company to accelerate construction so that operations could begin as early as possible.
Fuxin Wheel Chairman Weng Huajian reported on construction, technology development and plans for the second phase. He said the company would strengthen construction support, adhere to key milestones and continue increasing investment in personnel, machinery and funding to complete the project, begin production and achieve results as early as possible.
